Dental Extractions

Proper hygiene and care are essential to maintaining your teeth.  However, sometimes teeth need to be removed.  Extractions may become necessary due to deep cavities, failing root canals, severe bone loss, cracks or infections. 

Wisdom Teeth Extractions

Wisdom teeth (aka Third Molars) will usually begin to show themselves in the mouth somewhere between the ages of 17 to 25 years old.  Depending on your genetics, you may have anywhere from 0-4 teeth.  While wisdom teeth do not always cause problems, in the majority of cases they erupt in an unfavorable way due to a lack of space in the jaw.  Wisdom teeth become “impacted” and lead to a host of undesirable consequences particularly pain, pressure and infection.
