White Fillings

What are fillings and why am I being told I need one? 

• A filling fixes a hole, or cavity, in the tooth. 
• Cavities are caused by tooth decay and if the decay is not treated, it can cause pain, infection, and even tooth loss. 

What are fillings made of?

• Various materials can be used to restore teeth including metals or resins. 
• Our office uses resin, or white fillings, which patients find a more esthetic result.
