Orthodontics – Invisalign™

Choosing to straighten your teeth is a big decision that affects not only your appearance, but your lifestyle as well.  Unlike traditional wire and bracket based orthodontics, Invisalign allows one to discreetly straighten their teeth.  Treatment is based on  custom-made, clear, removable plastic aligners creating forces on natural teeth and depending on the complexity of the misalignment, patient can  complete treatment in as little as 10 aligners.  To improve tooth movement, small tooth colored attachments are placed onto teeth and patients are asked to wear the same aligner  full time for 2 weeks.  Patients then transition to the next aligner whereby new pressures will be exerted on the teeth to create more movement.
